Arizona Father of the Year Awards

Overview

The Father of the Year Awards is the first of its kind traveling celebration dedicated to honoring family values while specifically paying tribute to the role of fathers in our society. The event will be held at key metro cities throughout the United States.

Ownership of the event belongs to Hispanic American Central, an integrated multi-media holding company that specializes in the acculturated U.S. Hispanic market.

The 2006 Father of the Year Awards debut will be held on June 17, at the Phoenix Airport Marriott from 6pm - 12am.

Awards will be given in the following areas:

• Father of the Year (1)
• Step-Father of the Year (2)
• Single-Father of the year (2)
• Grand-Father of the Year (1)
• Father-Figure of the Year (1)

Purposes of the Ceremony:

• Provide an opportunity to honor family values.
• Provide a tribute to fatherhood.
• Encourage, motivate, and inspire great parenting.
• Develop alliances and lasting relationships with the community and organizations.
• Provide corporations the opportunity to market to the Hispanic-American community.
• A percentage of the proceeds will be contributed by Hispanic American Central to Father Matters, Inc. a community development company www.FatherMatters.com

Nomination Form - Due by: May 15, 2006

Hispanic American Central will present these awards at the 1st Annual Arizona Father of the Year Awards on June 17, 2006.

These awards will recognize the achievements and contributions of the Fathers that best exemplify the meaning of Fatherhood in our society and the overall concept of Family Values. We are looking for those special role models that contribute to their families in ways that are an inspiration to others

In 250 words or less, please discuss why the nominee should be selected as a recipient of a Father of the Year Award.

In order for our Selection Committee to thoroughly evaluate the nominees for the award, it is important that we receive a completed nomination form for each nominee. The nominee will be contacted and asked if they will accept the nomination. Upon acceptance the nominees will be asked to provide additional information to assist the committee with their selection. Please inform the nominee of this process.
